Fall is here and it’s time to bundle up!
SUMMIT, NEW JERSEY, October 8, 2012 - Second Time Around, 37 DeForest Ave., the thrift shop operated by the Junior League of Summit, is excited to announce its annual Coat Event! The Coat Event features gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s coats. The event will be held on Thursday, October 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This year’s coat event features coats of all styles, whether you are looking for a casual, light fall jacket or a snow parka! Coat prices are typically 50% less than full retail cost and the selection will be extensive with plenty of colors and choices for boys, girls and infants, with great buys under $15. Swing by to find some great deals on coats for the fall and winter.
“We hope people will stop by and see our wonderful coat selection,” said Junior Leave of Summit President Heather Speas, “With the winter months approaching, we want shoppers to come find a great deal to help keep their families warm this winter. And, at Second Time Around, you are supporting the local community, as all of the Shop’s proceeds go directly back to the Junior League and are reinvested in the form of grants and funding for community projects.”
Second Time Around Thrift Shop in Summit was established in 1934 and offers new and gently used clothing and shoes for men, women and children, toys, decorative items for the home, house wares and furniture that is deeply discounted . It is the primary fundraiser for the Junior League of Summit and has provided the resources for the League’s many grants, projects, programs and scholarships over the years. Since its inception, the Shop has raised over $3,000,000 to benefit Summit and surrounding communities. Second Time Around is one of only two thrift shops in New Jersey featured in the book, True Prep. The Shop accepts MC, Visa, and debit cards.
