Summit Area YMCA Staff Recognized for Commitment and Service
Each year the Y recognizes its outstanding employees who exemplify the Y mission in their work at the Summit YMCA, Berkeley Heights YMCA, The Learning Circle YMCA, and Association Services of the Summit Area YMCA. This
year sixteen staff members were recently recognized for their commitment and service to the Y at a quarterly key staff meeting on Friday, July 27. Categories of recognition included: Commitment to Mission, Above and Beyond,
Rookie of the Year, and Part-Time Staff Unsung Hero.
Of the sixteen nominated, 4 received awards: Marcus Jackson (The Learning Circle YMCA) received the Commitment to Mission award; Susan Guber (Summit YMCA) received the Above and Beyond Award;
Andrea Kost (Association Services/Development) received the Rookie of the Year Award; and Patty Priest (Berkeley Heights) received the Part-time staff Unsung Hero Award. The remaining staff members nominated for recognition included: Debby Hennessy, Renee Rehfuss, Barbara Testa, Jessica McClain, Carol Genova, Victoria Mossoczy, Mark White, Amanda Corredor, Lisa Meyers, Bella Pritsker, Dan Reeve, and Sholonda Chipepo.
