Mothers and their babies can come to this fun, social time and receive expert advice in a safe and supportive environment.

"Rudy" on the Outdoor Big Screen
When/Where: 
At 7 p.m. Thursday at the field atThe Warren Township Library in Warren.
Why Go:
 To view a heartwarming tale of Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger, who overcomes the odds and fulfills his dream of playing for Notre Dame. Come early to "catch" a chance to throw a football with Ned Bolcar, who played on two Notre Dame Championship teams.

Raritan Valley Community College at Bridgewater Open House
When/Where: 
From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Raritan Valley Community College at Bridgewater in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
Prospective students will learn about the admissions process, financial aid, career opportunities in technology and trades, and transfer opportunities after graduation from RVCC.
Pricing: 
Free.  

Medicinal Plants of the Civil War
Where/When:
 At 11 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township.
Why Go: 
Because this exhibit, inspired by a collection of rare books at the arboretum, will focus on the roll of medical botanies during the Civil War.
Price: 
Free.

Rotary Fair
When/Where: 
From 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Lowes Promeande Shopping Center in Hillsborough.
Why Go: 
To visit one of the premier family fun events in Somerset County. The carnival will feature spectacular rides, games, food, nightly entertainment and more.
Pricing: 
Free admission. $25 wristbands for unlimited rides available on Friday.

Marshmullers: Tadpoles
When/Where: 
From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the Environmental Education Center at Lord Stirling Park in Basking Ridge. 
Why Go: 
Because children ages 4 to 6 will enjoy an expedition of the world of plants and animals with an exploration of fields, forests, and ponds. 
Pricing: 
$40 per person. Registration required.

Friday Night Movie: The Conspirator
When/Where: 
At 7 p.m. on Friday at the Bridgewater Township Library in Bridgewater. 
Why Go: 
To view a riveting thriller about a woman who would do anything to protect her family, and the man who risked everything to save her.

Kids Night Out
When/Where: 
From 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at The Arc of Somerset County in Manville. 
Why Go: 
For children ages 3 to 12 with developmental disabilities and their families to enjoy an evening of fun activities in a safe and caring environment.
Pricing: 
$15 for the first child, and $5 per sibling.

Accidental Death of an Anarchist
Where/When: 
From 8 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison.
Why Go: 
Because enjoying Dario Fo’s brilliantly funny, scathing political farce is a terrific way to spend your weekend.

Family Overnight at Round Top Swim Club
When/Where: 
From 8 p.m. on Saturday to Sunday morning at Round Top Swim and Tennis Club in Warren.
