It's nice to see the female NP police officer being nasty and impolite to people as they wait in line for fuel. Way to set an example

Gas supply/open stations— huge issue right now. I'm hearing of stations opening around the county and closing as soon as they run out. The other Patch editors around Union County and I are working on a list of open stations, which we will try to keep as updated as possible. As of 2:30 p.m. today, Exxon on Springfield Avenue in New Providence is open right now, but there's a huge line. Plus, the Summit Patch Editor just told me that the Shell station on Morris Ave and Springfield in Summit has a steady flow.

Thank you! This is a great effort on your part. I have a newborn and toddler and the thought of no gas is scaring me. My husband's commute to NYC will be a mess fir a while and no gas will make 10 fold. Kind regards and thank you for keeping is apprised.

Exxon in Scotch Plains, east bound 22 near Snuffy's had only a 10 minute wait at 2:30pm; cash only and separate line for gas cans. This was while Exxon in NP had very very long lines.
