More About New Providence Memorial Library
The New Providence Memorial Library offers town residents a wide variety of books, CDs and audiobooks. DVDs are also available to borrow for $1 each. Several computers with Internet access are available for half-hour sessions. Patrons may also print from the Internet and make photocopies, at $0.20 per sheet. Reading groups are available - members meet on the first and third Thursday of each month. Several policies are in place, ranging from cell phone use to requesting a meeting room, and can be reviewed on the library website. The library also plays host to several programs, events and classes throughout the year. A children's room is also available, which features a reading room, toys, wall murals, a fish tank, tables and chairs, and an extensive collection of children's books.
