DESCRIPTION:Registration for AfterSchool and Kinderquest programs at The 
 Connection for Women and Families begins on Monday\, Feb. 27. The Connec
 tion&rsquo\;s School-Age child care enrichment programs are dedicated to
  inspiring learning beyond the school day.\nThe Connection&rsquo\;s Kind
 erquest for ages 5-6\, is an enrichment program for the other half of th
 e Kindergartnern student&rsquo\;s day offered in partnership with the Su
 mmit Board of Education at the Summit Primary Centers.\nThe curriculum\,
  written by the Summit Board of Education\, includes academics like math
 \, science and language arts as well as games\, story time\, outdoor pla
 y and arts and crafts. Kinderquest students also participate in special 
 enrichment activities with instructors from The Connection including dan
 ce\, musical theater\, art and yoga. &ldquo\;The extra half hour &ndash\
 ; whether morning or afternoon &ndash\; helps students develop academic 
 and social skills that will aid them in the future\,&rdquo\; said Direct
 or of Afterschool Enrichment Susan Siberine.\nThe Connection&rsquo\;s Af
 terSchool program is offered at Brayton\, Jefferson\, Lincoln-Hubbard an
 d Washington elementary schools\, as well as at The Connection. The Afte
 rSchool program provides a safe and nurturing environment for Kindergart
 en &ndash\; 5th grade students with a focus on homework completion. Addi
 tionally\, the program includes scheduled activities like cooking\, perf
 orming arts\, swimming and gymnastics classes.\nTransportation to The Co
 nnection is provided from the Summit Primary Centers and elementary scho
 ols. Students not attending public school in Summit are welcome to join 
 via their own transportation.\nKinderquest is offered Monday-Friday 8:15
 am-12:20pm or 11:20-3:15pm with the option of extended coverage through 
 AfterSchool program participation. AfterSchool at The Connection or at a
 ll of the Summit elementary schools\, except Franklin\, is offered Monda
 y-Friday 3:00-6:00pm. The programs follow the same calendar as the Summi
