 The Rahway Police Department invites you to join us as we join forces with the residents of Rahway and thousands of communities nationwide for the“29^th Annual National Night Out” (NNO), crime and drug prevention event. 

National Night Out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) Generate support for local anti-crime efforts; (3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships; and (4) Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.  NNO has proven to be an effective and enjoyable program that promotes police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation.

The event, which will take place on Thursday, August 2nd, and will be located in historic downtown Rahway at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Irving Street from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Our event will not occur on the traditional first Tuesday of the month, since we are running it in conjunction with The City of Rahway’s Art district First Thursday celebration.
