The Borough of New Providence Administrative Offices are located within the Borough's Municipal Center. This building is home to several borough departments, including the mayor, police, the borough administrator and borough clerk, the building and engineering departments, the Board of Education and the Health Services department. The building is also home to the Berkeley Heights and New Providence Shared Municipal Court, the tax assessor and tax collector and the Recreation Department. The rescue squad, fire department, senior citizen center, Department of Public Works and wastewater treatment plant are located in other buildings in the community. Information about the borough, its departments and its services, can be found on the borough's website. The Borough Council meets on Monday evenings in the Municipal Court. Members of the community can volunteer their time at the Municipal Center's front desk.
