Affinity Federal Credit Unions' own, John Fenton, CEO, and Joe Herbst, Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, competed head to head in Mo-VEMBER, a campaign to generate awareness and raise money for men's health issues.
On December 4, 2013, John and Joe participated in a "Shave-Off" and ultimately raised over $5,000 for the campaign. 'Team John' came out ahead with $3,070.00, which included a $760 pledge to get John to shave his mustache. 'Team Joe' followed closely behind at $2,194.50.
All of the funds were donated to the Cancer Institute of New Jersey to support free prostate cancer screenings.
