After the Cat Show, Find an Adoptable Friend

A look at adoptable felines at area shelters.

In honor of this weekend's Garden State Cat Show at the Garden State Exhibition Center in Somerset, we're featuring cats in need of a home this week.

There are many places to find a great cat—start your search at these rescue and adoption groups:

Husky House in Bridgewater specializes in dogs, but does have a cat available for the right home.Send inquiries to HuskyHouseInc@AOL.COM.

Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, at 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater, can be reached at 908-725-0308, or by email to SRAS.mail@verizon.net (The shelter is offering no fee cat adoptions this month).
