Berkeley Heights Street Fair Hits Springfield Ave. Next Week

The Suburban Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club sponsor massive block party.

The Suburban Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights will turn Springfield Avenue into a massive block party for the first annual Berkeley Heights Street Fair June 30.

The event will feature a host of family-friendly activities, including children's rides, face painting, a petting zoo, live entertainment and more, say organizers. Meanwhile, Berkeley Heights' Jersey Pilots will have a booth on Snyder Avenue where the college-league baseball team will offer souvenirs and players will sign autographs in advance of a double header.

A host of area artisans and merchants are expected to be on hand to show off and sell their wares. And there will be plenty of food available—vendors will offer sausage and peppers, kabobs, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers and more.
