Union High School Sophomore Marlisa Shaw was named 2014 Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Club of Union County for her active participation in the community, according to nj.com.
The 15 year-old award recipient, who has been a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Union County for nine years, will be competing for a $1,000 scholarship from Tupperware Brands Corporation against other Boys & Girls Club members across New Jersey, according to nj.com.
