Vendors from around New Jersey will be gathering every Wednesday in the Municipal Building parking lot for the New Providence Farmer's Market.
Sponsored by the New Providence Business and Professional Association, the market is in it's fifth year and will feature eight merchants selling fruits, vegetables, nuts, meat, fresh baked goods and even Jersey honey.
"We started it after the Acme closed five years ago," said Market Manager Joe Steiner. "Vendors are the same every week, and we also see a lot of regular [customers]."
The market will be open every Wednesday, rain or shine, from 1 – 6 p.m. through October 26. The Municipal Center is located at 360 Elkwood Ave. in New Providence.
