Lions Club Holding Pancake Breakfast for NPHS Student Losing Eyesight

On March 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Lions Club of New Providence is holding a pancake breakfast for a New Providence High School student with a rare parasitic eye disease.


Brian Mansfield, 16, of New Providence is losing his eye sight due to a rare parasitic eye infection and the Lions Club is holding a pancake breakfast benefit for the Mansfield family on March 3.

The breakfast is $10 per person or $25 per family. Also available are sponsorships for $100. Al Morgan of the Lions Club said they already have over 20 sponsors.

"It's a very very good thing," he said. "That's what New Providence is all about." 

The breakfast will be held at that William Paca Club from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
