Mountainside Girls Scouts to Host Ice Skating Party Today

Bring the entire family to the Union Sports Arena from 1:45-3:15 p.m.

Don’t have any plans for the Columbus Day school holiday? 

Then you are invited to join the Mountainside Service Unit of the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey Council for “Family Community Ice Skating” on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 10, at the Union Sports Arena in Union, NJ. 

The Mountainside Scouts have reserved the ice from 1:45-3:15 p.m. this afternoon for their unit’s money earning activity.  Everyone is invited to participate in this event which will also feature a “Wacky Lids” contest.

Come wearing your craziest decorated hat or helmet and you’ll have a chance at winning a prize!  The cost of this activity is $9.00 per person, or $32.00 maximum per family (immediate family members only).  Skate rental is available at $3.00 per pair.

So, make plans to bring the whole family for some fun family ice time.  Join the Mountainside Girl Scouts for Family Ice Skating on Monday October 10 and have some gliding good fun!

Reservation forms can be obtained at the Mountainside Borough Hall Recreation Office, the Mountainside Library, Mountainside’s Beechwood or Deerfield Schools, or online at www.mountainsidegirlscouts.com.  Tickets will also be sold at the door if space allows.  So, if you’re not sure of your Columbus Day plans, arrive early to secure your spot!
