Murray Hill Health & Racquet Club Sponsors Community Day

Mark April 27 on your calendar. MHHRC is holding an event you won't want to miss!


The Murray Hill Health & Racquet Club (MHHRC) will be holding its 1st Annual Community Wellness Awareness Day on Saturday, April 27 from 9 am to 2 pm. The free event, designed to raise awareness to what it truly means to live a healthy life, mind, body, and spirit, will be open to the entire community.

Raising awareness to the needs of the entire community is also a goal of the event.

A variety of organizations will be present at the Community Wellness Awareness Day. The New Providence Police Department in conjunction with the Union County Sheriff’s department will provide complimentary bicycle helmet safety and car seat safety tips.  Local businesses including Across the Floor School of Dance, Summit School of Dance, and Indigo School of Gymnastics will provide entertainment with demonstrations in dance and gymnastics instruction.  P3 Tennis will be having demonstrations of their tennis instruction and will have summer program information available. Local and National vendors such as Market America will be in attendance with samples of recently FDA approved multivitamins and weight loss strategies.  

Doctors, Dentists, and Nutritionists will be available for free assessments for the entire family.  Nurses will be giving blood pressure screenings and will be available to go over medical histories and blood work results for anyone interested.  Family entertainment to include a DJ, moonbouncer, and more! Food and Drink will be donated by Muscle Maker Grill of New Providence.

The Community Service Organization of New Providence (CSA) who sponsors New Providence families in need of financial assistance, including recreational activities for children who could not normally afford it, are asking for your donations so they can continue to assist helping rehabilitate families during times of hardship and loss.  MHHRC will be accepting donations for the CSA.

Everyone in attendance will also have total access to the Health Club. Take a group fitness class, work out, view a demonstration of small group training, speak to a personal trainer, and more.

MHHRC offers a variety of group exercise classes including, but not limited to, Zumba, Bootcamp, CrossFitness, Kickboxing, Pilates, Yoga, and Spin.  MHHRC offers personal training, small group training in Pilates Reformer and Tower and TRX, massage therapy, and 6 tennis courts for open tennis and tennis instruction for ages 3 to 103.

MHHRC has been New Providence’s family owned and operated neighborhood health and wellness center, providing tennis and fitness under one roof for 41 years.
