Red Cross Manager a 'Champion of Change'
New Providence native honored at White House reception.
New Providence native Gail Shephard Toscano has been named a “Champion of Change” by FEMA.
Toscano, the preparedness and resiliency manager of the American Red Cross in northeast Pennsylvania, was honored for helping prepare her region for disaster during September’s National Preparedness Month, according to the Pocono Record.
Toscano, a 1983 graduate of New Providence High School, traveled to the White House for a reception on Sept. 24.
