UPDATE: List Of Union County Roads Still Impacted By Heavy Rain

Flooding from Wednesday nights rain storm is still having a major impact in some parts of Union County. As of 8:00 a.m., the following ramps and roadways are still closed or experiencing heavy delays due to substantial amounts of flooding, according to 511.org:

US 22 - All lanes are closed and detoured westbound at New Providence Rd. in Mountain Side and westbound between Glenside Ave. and CR 655, Bonnie Burn Rd., and Park Ave. in Scotch Plains Township. 

There is also construction eastbound between CR 577 and Springfield Ave. in Springfield Township and West of Michigan Ave. in Union Township. One lane may be blocked until 3:00 p.m.  

NJ 27 - Both lanes are closed and detoured between CR 621, Hazelwood Ave. and CR 602, West Inman Ave. in Rahway. 

I-28 - Expect delays in the westbound areas of exit 48 - NJ 24 West in Springfield due to heavy volume.

Garden State Parkway - Expect delays, stop and go traffic, northbound from South of Exit 138 to North of Exit 142.
