OLP Country Fair

It’s that time of year again. When the weather gets warmer and the days get longer you know that the annual country fair at OLP is coming.  Remember these dates Wednesday May 16th 6pm-10pm, Thursday May 17th 6pm – 10pm, Friday May 18th 6pm-11pm, and Saturday May 19th 1pm-11pm.

There is something for everyone no matter what your age.  We have games, rides, raffles, food, crafters, vendors, Giant 50/50, music and much more. New to the fair this year is a virtual game truck where you can play against all of your friends.

There are 16-20 rides, some are kiddie, family or for the thrill seeker.  Advance sale of ride tickets are now on sale at the rectory for a huge savings, while supplies last. You will also find wheels of chance, and games of skill with new prizes this year.

Again this year there will be only one mega winner in the Giant 50/50. And don’t forget to check out our inside raffles.  Here you can win the NEW iPad, a flatscreen TV, and many other prizes.

We have also expanded our crafters inside the gym. Here you can shop till you drop. You will find many fine vendors offering handmade jewelry, photography, pocketbooks, homemade lotions and soaps, children’s toys, books and so much more.  At the new gift table you will find you can purchase a new item at a fraction of the original cost. Also, inside the gym is Mom’s Kitchen where you can get traditional delicious Italian cuisine.

When you step out into the back lot you will find many food vendors.  The knights of Columbus are back with their famous hamburgers and hot dogs.  There’s pizza, cheese steaks, sausage and peppers, calzones, shish kabobs, and zeppoles.  Just to name a few. We hope to see you at the fair. If you have any questions call the rectory at (908) 464-7600.
