Second-Annual Women’s History Month Exhibit Will Showcase Works of Local Female Artists

Developed by Armisey Smith and Jade Ariella Lien, the exhibit will feature the works of more than two dozen artists from Newark and across the region. This is the second exhibit by Smith and Lien at NSA that focuses exclusively on the strengths and influence of female artists.

Special guests will include poet Mia X and actress Donna Holmes at this Friday's reception.

The exhibit will be featured at NSA from March 21 – April 21 and is free and open to the public. NSA offers free, on-site parking and is wheelchair accessible. Most works in the STRONG WOMEN exhibition will be for sale. A percentage of sales will go to support NSA's art programs.
