Expressions in Pastel Receives Warm Reception on Cool Evening in Cranford
Artist Framer Exhibits Pastels of Jeri Greenberg.
Skies might have been grey outside last Friday night in Cranford, but inside the Artist Framer, walls were dripping with some of the loveliest color combinations imaginable, courtesy of Jeri Greenberg of Mountainside.
The award winning pastel artist hosted an artist reception for her solo show at the North Avenue East gallery on December 7, enchanting customers with charming landscapes, still lifes, florals and portraits.
Marianne Jennings of Mountainside remarked, "It's unbelievable how much detail Jeri achieves with pastels; I loved the paintings so much, I had to take one home with me."

Greenberg told Patch, "It was exciting to see my work hung on all four of the Artist Framer walls. Even though it was a cold rainy evening, I was thrilled to see so many people there. Of course I was happy to sell pieces at the reception and hope more of my work adorns people's homes for the holidays.”
The Artist Framer is located at 17 North Ave. East, each month a different artist is featured.
Owner Stefanie Lalor said, "We enjoy showing the work of local artists, as well as holding painting and drawing classes in our workshop space."
