Free Christmas Concert to be Held Sunday
All are invited to Mount Saint Mary Academy for 3 pm event.
Mount Saint Mary Academy will hold its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 18 at 3 pm. The event will take place at Immaculate Conception Chapel on the Mount campus. This year’s theme is a Russian Christmas. Members of the Academy’s vocal and instrumental ensembles will perform selections from The Nutcracker and other seasonal favorites.
The event will mark the debut of the Academy’s jazz and select choirs. The Mount Chorale and flute ensemble will also perform. They will be joined by musicians from Somerset Brass, Harmonium Chorale Society, Kean University, and Scotch Plains Fanwood High School. The concert will conclude with a sing along in which audience members are invited to participate.
The event is free and open to the public. Free will donations will be accepted.
