Open House to Cap Art Center’s For Art’s Sake Weekend

Event to run April 1-3.

The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey’s first-ever For Art’s Sake Weekend will culminate with a free Open House for the entire community on Sunday, April 3, from 12-4 pm.

Participants of all ages can get creative in 11 different workshops and demonstrations, including graffiti drawing on paper, wire clay people and photographing families, and take a chance on a 50-50 raffle. Kid-friendly fare will be provided by the GARAGE Burgers & Fries of Millburn.

Segunda Qumbamba, a percussion and dance ensemble, will provide the afternoon’s entertainment by bringing Puerto Rico’s traditional Bomba and Plena drum music and dance to Summit.
