Murray Hill Health and Racquet Club Hosts Supply Drive to benefit Plainfield school

The holidays is all about giving and Murray Hill Health and Racquet Club and its members did just that.

Central Jersey Arts Charter School in Plainfield was in desperate need of supplies for its students and teachers.  Teacher, Emily Frisch, reached out to Betsy Shinkle who was thrilled to sponsor the "Stuff the Bus" drive to collect supplies for the school.  In addition to the plethora of supplies donated by the members of Murray Hill Health and Racquet Club, she sponsored a charity yoga nidra class led by instructor, Karen Frisch, to raise money for spanish language children's books for the elementary classes.

At the conclusion of the Stuff the Bus project, 10 bags of supplies filled to the brim were donated to the Kindergarten through 8th grade teachers to distribute to their classes.

If you'd like to donate and support the children of Central Jersey Arts Charter school, school supplies are always accepted along with musical instruments, art supplies, and new or used children's books.  Please contact membership.mhhrc@gmail.com to learn more!  Together we can make a difference!
