New Providence Resident celebrating 20th Anniversary of Physical Therapy Services of Morristown, LLC

Physical Therapy Services of Morristown, LLC, an independently owned outpatient rehabilitation center located in Morristown, NJ, is pleased to announce its 20th anniversary!

Thomas Trezza, PT began his practice on October 21, 1994.  Thom was the only clinician providing patient care at that time, but soon his office grew in space and numbers.  By 2004 the office had grown to two full-time and one part-time therapists, and Thom moved his group to a 2700 square foot office with updated exercise equipment and more elbow room.  Despite a larger space, the office maintains a local business feel, providing cost effective care and excellent customer service.

Despite current healthcare challenges, PTSM has stayed true to its core values, and is thankful for the community of local physicians who continue to rely on their services to get patients back on the road to recovery.  Their mission is to provide treatment programs that make sense to patients by addressing functional needs.  PTSM is proud when patients succeed in meeting their physical goals, doing so by teaming up with one therapist.

The current staff of  therapists includes Thomas Trezza, PT, MS, DPT, Stephanie Bolebruch, PT, MS, and Allison Johansen, PT, MS, DPT.  As a team, they have 45 years of clinical experience.  The practice has grown due to an excellent reputation for patient care, geared toward personal service in an ethical practice environment.  Numerous local physicians have not only referred patients to PTSM, but have trusted them for their own health-care needs, as well as those of family members.

The main focus of the practice is orthopedic and sports-related injuries, working with patients from elementary to high school, the collegiate athlete or weekend warrior, and the Masters athlete.  Therapists have received additional training in strength conditioning for senior athletes.  PTSM also provides treatment for patients who have had orthopedic surgery, such as total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, or spinal surgery.  Young, old, or somewhere in between, PTSM will guide patients back to wellness. A new initiative for us is to provide physical therapy related information to our referring physicians and patients. We hope this information will keep both groups informed of new topics in physical therapy and the benefits of physical therapy to their health and well being.

PTSM has been recognized as “Best in Morristown” for physical therapy in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 by the United States Commerce Association.  They are proud to be a part of the medical community in Morristown, and look forward to another twenty years of providing skilled services for patients looking to maintain active lifestyles.  In May of 2014, the office will move to a new, 3600 square foot space at 310 Madison Ave. PTSM recently updated their website, and can be viewed at www.morristownpt.com.  For more information about the practice, you can visit the website, send an email to info@morristownpt.com, or call (973) 292-1101.   Additionally, the office posts information on Facebook (www.facebook/physicaltherapyservicesofmorristown), or can be followed on twitter@morristownpt.
