Mayor Joe Bruno would like parents to let their children trick or treat between 3 and 6 p.m.

"That's three hours of trick or treating, and again, it's mainly for the safety of the children," said Mayor Bruno. "We want them to experience Halloween, albeit a week late, but we want them safe and there is a lot of debris that is on sidewalks and front lawns."
