Berkeley Heights Recreation & Community Information Bulletins

The Berkeley Heights Recreation Department issued the following update. 

2013 Winter Recreation Programs: Look for our 2013 Winter Program Booklet on the township website:www.berkeleyheightstwp.com (click on the recreation drop-down).  

Registration is underway. Programs will begin on Wednesday, January 3, 2013.  We adjusted the start time for the new Creative Craft Club on Fridays to 3:30 and added 3 sections of Futsal on Wednesdays at MKM.  If you forgot your password, call us in the office and we can send you a temporary one- it is easier than recreating everything in your account by making a new one.

Winter Craft Day:  In the BH Community Center for children ages 4 – 10, residing in Berkeley Heights, come join the fun making crafts, music and refreshments on Thursday, Dec. 27, from 10 a.m. – noon.

Concussion Awareness:  Thursday December 13 at 8pm Gabriele Fitness & Performance will be hosting a presentation by Dr. Joseph Rempson, Chief of the Department of Rehabilitation at Overlook Hospital.  Discussion will include how concussions happen, the effects, recovery and myths.  There is no charge for the seminar but seats are limited.  Please register prior to the event.  If you have questions call 908-464-4441 or e-mail train@gabrielefitness.com.
