Five Things you Need to Know This Weekend

Car show, tot trot and Memorial Walk highlight your Sunday activities.

The first full weekend in June is upon, so here's a few things to keep in mind for the weekend.

1. 2011 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Michelle Offsie Memorial Walk which benefits the breast cancer research, treatment and awareness programs at City of Hope (www.coh.org).

The event was founded in 2002 by then Edison teen, Janna Zuckerman.  Michelle Offsie was a family friend and active member of the Edison Community who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2002, at a young age. We continue to celebrate the life of Michelle Offsie through this memorial walk and continue to raise much needed awareness and funds to find a cure for breast cancer.

Janna set a goal to raise $1 Million to fight breast cancer by her college graduation this month.  So far, in the past 9 years, the walk has raised nearly $800,000.  Won’t you help Janna meet her goal to raise $1 Million and get us one step closer to a cure?

The Michelle Offsie Memorial Walk is a family event.
