Five Things You Need To Know Today: April 14

Today, the library is screening a kids' movie, the baseball, softball and boys' lacrosse teams will be in action, and the Summit College Club's book sale is still going on at American Legion.

1. School’s out today for Spring Break. But any kids who love Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, the is screening the movie from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Conti Family Community Room.

2. The boys’ baseball teams will be in action tomorrow at home. Varsity will play St. Patrick’s and JV will play Roselle Catholic. Both games begin at 4 p.m.

3. The girls’ varsity softball team will play at Elizabeth High School beginning at 4 p.m. The JV game has been postponed to April 23.

4. The boys’ lacrosse teams will play at Arthur L. Johnson High School today. Varsity will play at 4 p.m., followed by JV at 5:30 p.m.

5. The Summit College Club is hosting a running through April 17. Admission is free for this event, running 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Held at , located at 357 Elkwood Ave., all proceeds will go to scholarships for senior girls at local high school in the greater Summit Area, including New Providence, Summit, Berkeley Heights, Chatham and Short Hills.
