Five Things You Need To Know Today: April 18
Liberty Tax is offering a discount on tax returns until midnight, several athletic teams will be in action today, and the Zoning Board will meet tonight.
1. Liberty Tax, located at 1279 Springfield Avenue across from Chen’s Restaurant, will be open from 9 a.m. to midnight if you still need to file your tax return. Liberty Tax is offering a $25 discount with $5 donation for American Cancer Society, Relay for life. For more information, please call 908-898-0888.
2. The boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams will be in action away today. The varsity girls will play at Union Catholic at 4 p.m., followed by JV at 5:30 p.m. The varsity boys will play at Westfield High School at 4 p.m. and JV will play at 5:30 p.m.
3. The boys’ varsity tennis team will play at Governor Livingston at 4 p.m.

4. The girls’ varsity softball team will host Plainfield High School at 4 p.m. The JV game has been canceled.
