Five Things You Need To Know Today: August 14

Today, the Summit Farmers Market will be open, there will be a Memorabilia & Collectibles Show in Rahway, and Holy Trinity Interparochial School in Westfield will host a blood drive.

1. The will be open today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maple Street and Deforest Avenue. All are welcome.

2. There will be an meeting today, and every Sunday, at Overlook Hospital, Center for Community Health. The meeting is open to all and will begin at 8:45 a.m.

3. There will be a today at Holy Trinity Interparochial School, located at 336 1st Street in Westfield. The drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are encouraged to donate, as blood supplies in the area are dwindling.

4. There will be a (sports and non-sports) at Rahway Senior Citizens Center, located at 1306 Esterbrook Avenue in Rahway. The show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $1, but children under 10 who are accompanied by an adult will be admitted for free.
