Five Things You Need To Know Today: August 16
Summit Old Guard will meet this morning, the library will screen a movie this afternoon, and the NP Alliance will meet tonight.
1. will screen the movie "An American Rhapsody" at 2 p.m. in the Conti Family Meeting Room.
2. The Summit Old Guard will meet at 9:15 a.m. in the Municipal Center, located at 360 Elkwood Ave.
3. The NP Alliance will host its monthly meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the , located at 535 Central Ave. The meeting will feature a discussion by John Bullock about the normal irreversible processes that take place as we age. The meeting is open to Summit area men over the age of 50.

4. There will be an Alcoholic Anonymous meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight, and every Tuesday evening, at the Italian American Club, located at 146 Morris Ave. in Summit. Tonight's meeting is a beginner meeting. This facility is non-smoking and all are welcome.
5. The New Providence Farmers Market will be open tomorrow, Aug. 17, from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Municipal Center parking lot, located at 360 Elkwood Ave. The market will be open every Wednesday through Oct. 29, rain or shine.
