Five Things You Need to Know Today, July 20th

Greaseband and The Kootz highlight two summer concert series.

Today is July 20th, 2011 and while we all may take a ride on one of the great adventures at a nearby amusement park, nothing compares to what happened on this date in 1969, when Astronaut Neil A. Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon.

Come to think of it, there was another miracle that year. the New york Mets won the World Series. Too bad I wasn't born yet!

and speaking of baseball, Hammerin' Hank Aaron hit his 755th home run, the final home run of his career on this date in 1976.
