Five Things You Need To Know Today: July 28

Today, the library will screen "Toy Story 3," and the final concert in "A Night Under The Stars" concert series will feature a program for children, followed by a performance from "Tim Gillis Band."

1. The final concert in "A Night Under The Stars" summer concert series will begin tonight in Centennial Park at 7:30 p.m., featuring the Tim Gillis Band. The series is presented by the New Providence Business and Professional Association and sponsored by Lassus Wherley Wealth Management, Creative Wallcoverings and Interiors, Prudential New Jersey Realtors, Braunschweiger Jewelers, Prestige Diner, and the New Providence Downtown Improvement District.

2. Before the concert begins at Centennial Park, a program for children will kick off the festivities at 6:30 p.m., featuring Rizzo's Reptiles. For more information, please call 908-464-4430.

3. The New Providence Memorial Library will screen "Toy Story 3," rated G, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Conti Family Community Room.

If you're looking to venture out of the borough today or later this week, the Woodbridge Community Youth Players will present today through Sunday, July 31 at the Hungarian American Club, located at 95 Port Reading Avenue in Woodbridge. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m., except for the Sunday performance that begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
