Five Things You Need To Know Today: June 15

Today, DPW will be micropaving a few borough roads, the Farmers Market officially opens for the season, and the Diversity Committee will host a meeting.

1. Micropaving begins today on borough roads. Today, the Department of Public Works will be working on Pittsford Way, Clinton Avenue and Crescent Drive. Call the at 908-665-1076 with any questions.

2. The New Providence Farmers Market officially opens for the season today, presented by the New Providence Business and Professional Association. The market will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine in the Municipal Center parking lot, located at Academy Street and Elkwood Avenue. 3. The Club will meet today at 11 a.m.

4. The Diversity Committee of New Providence is scheduled to meet from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the Municipal Center. All are welcome to attend.

5. Tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m., the 's Thursday Morning Book Club will meet to discuss "The Heretic's Daughter: A Novel" by Kathleen Kent. Library Assistant Carol Hance will lead the discussion.
