Five Things You Need To Know Today: June 19

Heading down the shore today? Check out our weekend guide. If you're staying in the area, the Summit Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

2. If you're looking to purchase some fresh, local produce before you have a chance to visit New Providence Farmer's Market again this Wednesday, head down to the today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., located at Maple Street and DeForest Avenue in Summit.

3. The AfterWords Bookshop will be hosting a paperback book sale from Monday, June 20 through Saturday, June 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bookshop is located on the lower level of the library. All regular paperbacks will be on sale for 25 cents each.

4. The United Methodist Church will host a Re-Employment Seminar from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in New Room this Monday. Topics vary each week. Please visit the church's website for more information.

5. This Wednesday, the New Providence Farmers Market, presented by the New Providence Business & Professional Association, will be back again for the second week of the season. The market will be open every Wednesday through October 29 from 1 - 6 p.m. in the Municipal Center parking lot, located at Elkwood Avenue and Academy Street.
