Five Things You Need To Know Today: May 21

Today is the final day of the Country Fair at OLP, Elefante Music is holding a Customer Appreciation Day, and the track and boys' lacrosse teams will be in action.

1. is hosting a from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at its location at 1790 Springfield Ave. Throughout the day, the school will offer various performances, free classes and raffles to community members in celebration of the installation of a 120-panel solar array. All are welcome to attend. For more details, check out the school's website.

2. The girls' and boys' varsity track and field team will compete in day two of the Union County Championships in Plainfield, beginning at 9 a.m.

3. The boys' varsity lacrosse team will play at Bernards High School at 10 a.m. today. With a record of 10-10, the team could break the school record in season wins if they are victorious over Bernards.

4. The varsity softball game at Glen Ridge High School scheduled for today has been cancelled.

5. Today is the final day of the 2011 Country Fair at Our Lady of Peace Church. The fair will take place today from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., rain or shine, indoors and out. Attendees can expect great food, awesome prizes, and thrilling rides and games for kids and adults of all ages. Check out our from the fair earlier this week.
