Five Things You Need To Know Today: May 5

Today, the golf, baseball, softball and track teams will be in action, the Thursday Evening Reading Group will meet at the library, and the Board of Education will hold its Re-Organization meeting.

1. The boys' and girls' varsity track team will compete in the Union County Relays today at Westfield, starting at 4 p.m.

2. The varsity golf team will play at Echo Lake in the Union County Tournament, beginning at 2 p.m.

3. The girls' varsity softball team will play at Plainfield, while the boys' varsity and JV baseball teams will play Oratory Prep. All games begin at 4 p.m.

4. The 's Thursday Evening Reading Group will discuss "The End of the World as We Know It" by Robert Goolrick. The discussion will begin at 7:30 p.m.
