2. GIRLS' VARSITY BASKETBALL COMPETES IN UNION COUNTY TOURNAMENT
Where/When: Location is TBA; Sunday, 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Seeded at number 2, the girls' varsity basketball team will compete in the UCIAC Quarterfinals against the winner of tonight's Linden vs. Roselle game. Go out and support your Lady Pioneers!

3. JOHN LENNON'S 70TH BIRTHDAY
Where/When: State Theatre, 15 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick; Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: In celebration of Lennon's Birthday, Glen Burtnik and Friends are performing a special concert featuring "Imagine," "Give Peace a Chance," "Come Together," "Strawberry Fields Forever," among many others.

4. HOOPS FOR HOPE AT SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL

Why Go: The Summit girls' basketball team is sponsoring the 3rd annual event to benefit the Susan G. Komen For The Cure and The Adrienne Reid Scholarship Fund.
Pricing: Admission is free, but t-shirts will be for sale and there will also be a concession stand and bake sale.
5. SECOND ANNUAL GARDEN STATE FOLK FESTIVAL
Where/When: Mayo Center for the Performing Arts, 100 South St., Morristown; Sunday at 3 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy live music by Carla Ulbrich, a comical singer-songwriter, the award-winning women's Hickory Tree Chorus, the Dirdy Birdlies Jug Band and acoustic music journalist Roger Deitz.
