Kathy Gerndt Joins Recreation Department

Mountainside native experienced programs first-hand.

 

The Mountainside Recreation Department recently welcomed Kathy Gerndt as Assistant Director.

Kathy grew up in Mountainside, experiencing ther programs first hand.

She has been working part-time for the department over the past five years as an official, Teen Scene Head Supervisor and in pool maintenance.

Kathy is a graduate of James Madison University where she played on the tennis team. Being an avid golfer she has been involved in both the Garden State Women’s Golf Association and the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association. After many successful years in the private sector, she has decided to pursue her true passion.
