Limited Supplies Left at New Providence Stores

Stores sold out of batteries and flashlights, few still have bread, milk and water on shelves.

Hurricane Irene is about to rear her ugly head in New Providence later tonight and into Sunday morning.

Hopefully by now, you've all purchased your basic Hurricane necessities, such as batteries, flashlights, candles, water, milk, bread and non-perishables.

But if you're looking for some last minute items, there are a few stores in town that will be open tonight and possibly tomorrow with very limited supplies left.

But he said a new shipment of canned foods, cases of bottled water and bread will be coming in tonight after the store closes early at 10 p.m. The store should open on Sunday at 8 a.m. as long as there is not a state of emergency.
