Highlander Band to host event on Oct. 16.

The Highlander Band of Governor Livingston High School – will be hosting their 40th Annual Band Pageant at the High School on October 16, from 12:30–5:00 p.m.

Fourteen other High School Marching Bands from across the northern half of the State and as far away as Pennsylvania will converge on Governor Livingston, all competing for top marks.

The Band Pageant tests students with interwoven maneuvers while they play concert-quality music.  Students undergo intense training aided by advanced choreography software to prepare for the show. In addition, each band wears elaborate uniforms.
