New Providence Store Sells $458,184 Winning Cash 5 Jackpot Ticket

The winning ticket was purchased at Center Stationers on Springfield Avenue in New Providence.


The following information was provided by the New Jersey Lottery.

One winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $458,184 was sold in Union County for the Sunday, April 14 drawing.  The Union County winning ticket was bought at Center Stationers, 1261 Springfield Ave., New Providence.

Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the winning ticket was the only one sold for Sunday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 06, 12, 34, 38 and 39.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Center Stationers,” said Hedinger. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Hedinger also noted that 4,487 other players won $135,783 in cash prizes in the Sunday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 134 players won cash prizes of $591.00 each and for correctly matching three numbers, 4,353 players won $13.00 each.
