In 1966, the livin' was easy. Or so they say. But in the middle of the Stones, Beatles and the Beach Boys, there were plenty of acts with cool sounds that filled out the charts.
One of them was the Lovin' Spoonful, who struck a chord with their 1966 hit "Summer in the City".
