Township State of Emergency in Effect Through Weekend
Trick or treating re-scheduled for Sunday Nov. 6.
This is a message from the Berkeley Heights police chief Michael Mathis:
"The Township State of Emergency will remain in effect throughout the weekend of November 5-6. For the safety of our children, trick or treating festivities are rescheduled for Sunday, November 6, 2011. For safety reasons, a curfew of 6:00 pm will be in place for all ages. Please share this information with your friends and neighbors who may not be receiving these updates. Thank you for your patience during these difficult times."
