For children ages 7 to 9 to learn about rockets with a hands-on, fun-filled, science program.

Why Go: 
To watch from the safety of your own car as a return trip to Narnia encounters dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors all before reaching the edge of the world. Don't forget the popcorn.

Why Go: 
It's a musical adaptation of an American classic. Adventure down the Mississippi with the hijinks of Tom and Huck.

$17 per adult. $15 per senior/student.

Why Go: 
To enjoy the accomplishment and exercise of a 5K while helping the Samaritan Homeless Interim Program provide help to the hungry.
Pricing: 
$20 per person. $5 for children under 14.


When/Where: 
From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the  in Warren.
Why Go: 
To drop in any time during the listed times and create a butterfly with imagination and library friends.
Pricing: 
Free.


When/Where: 
From 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the  in Warren.
Why Go: 
For kids and teens to play a hand of Pokemon trading card game or a round of the DS game. Learn how to play, earn points for free cards and come out winning with the making of new friends.
Pricing: 
$7 per child includes a free pack of cards.

At 10 a.m. on Saturday at Lowes in Hillsborough.
Why Go: 
Because the build and grow clinic continues to focus on your own talents while creating an awesome pair of binoculars. Look what you can do.

When/Where: 
From 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Glenwood Terrace Pool in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
To cool off from the summer heat with a refreshing swim at Glenwood Terrace Pool's open house. Enjoy the facilities including a 35 foot wide main pool and 15 foot circular wading pool for the kids.
Pricing: 
$3 per person.

 At 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at  in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: 
To come together as a community with compassion and the fun of a 5K walk/run around the park. This year's event honors Bridgewater's Erik Anderson, 18, who passed away due to complications including platelet disorder.   
Pricing: 
Donations gratefully accepted.

 
When/Where: 
From 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday  at  in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: 
To join artists in a reception for the Plein Air Art Paint Out and Artsee. Listen to live music, participate in a silent auction, and enjoy over forty selected works for exhibit and sale.

Free admission.

At 7 p.m. on Sunday at  in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
To find out why Michael Amante has been named "The People's Tenor" and the “Prince of High C’s.” Be serenaded with the tender phrases of O Sole Mio and his portfolio of Italian arias all while you picnic under the stars.
