Chasing Ice at Berkeley Heights Library

Award-Winning Documentary Chasing Ice  at Berkeley Heights Library

Follow National Geographic photographer James Balog across the Arctic as he deploys time-lapse cameras to capture a multi-year record of the world's changing glaciers.  James Balog was once a skeptic about climate change, but through his Extreme Ice Survey, he discovers undeniable evidence of our changing planet.  Balog's hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate.

Chasing Ice has won over 30 awards at film festivals around the world, including the Excellence in Cinematography Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
