Our Lady of Peace Country Fair 2013

OUR LADY OF PEACE CARNIVAL…WHERE MEMORIES ARE MADE

It’s that time of year again - when the weather gets warmer and the days get longer you know that the annual country fair at Our Lady of Peace in New Providence is coming.  The fair dates are on Wednesday, May 15th 6pm-10pm, Thursday, May 16th 6pm – 10pm, Friday, May 17th 6pm-11pm, and Saturday, May 18th 1pm-11pm.

The Fair Committee promises that there is something for everyone no matter what your age.  We have games of chance, rides, raffles, all kinds of food, crafters, vendors, Giant 50/50, and so much more.

There are over 15 rides, including kiddie rides, family-oriented, and those for the thrill seekers.  Advance sale of ride tickets are now on sale at the rectory for a huge savings, while supplies last. You will also find wheels of chance and games of skill with new prizes this year.

Again this year there will be only one mega winner in the Giant 50/50. Last year’s winner won close to $10,000! And don’t forget to check out our inside raffles.  Here you can win gift certificates and excellent prizes from area merchants.

We have also expanded our crafters inside the gym. Here you can shop ‘til you drop. You will find many fine vendors offering handmade jewelry, pocketbooks, children’s toys, books and so much more.  At the new gift table you will find you can purchase a new item at a fraction of the original cost.

When you step out into the back lot you will find many food vendors.  The Knights of Columbus are back with their famous hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs.  We have cheese steaks, sausage and peppers, calzones, shish kabobs, zeppoles and ice cream, just to name a few.  In the auditorium you will smell the wonderful aroma coming from Mom’s Kitchen featuring an excellent pulled pork sandwich and delicious Italian dishes.

We hope to see you at the fair. If you have any questions call the rectory at (908) 464-7600 or stop by the rectory at 111 South Street, New Providence. Visit www.olpnp.com for hours, directions, etc.
