All Day Kindergarten Open House at the Berkeley Heights YMCA

Beginning September 2012 the Berkeley Heights YMCA will provide all day Kindergarten programs for children turning 5 by December 31, 2012. Registration for the 2012/13 school years begins January 31, 2012. The Y’s All Day Kindergarten program is dedicated to successfully preparing your child for a smooth and stress free transition to 1st Grade and elementary school.

The Y values emphasize caring, respect, honesty and responsibility, and we are committed to building healthy, confident children, that reflect these values. Our curriculum includes: 1st Grade preparedness, strong language, literature and reading program, hands on discovery science and math programs, computers and Spanish lessons, and socialization skills to develop independence and self-confidence.
Also included are weekly swim and gym classes, music and enrichment programs, field trips, and outdoor play.


The Berkeley Heights YMCA will hold its All Day Kindergarten open house on Tuesday, January 17, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, 550 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley
