Assembly Republican Leader Promises Laughs for Sandy Relief

Voted the "funniest lawyer in NJ", Jon Bramnick (R-21) will be performing his comedy routine in Atlantic City to help fund Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Jon Bramnick is a funny guy.

At least that's what his fellow lawyers at the state bar association think. They voted him "the funniest lawyer in New Jersey" after Bramnick won several comedy contests.

Now Bramnick - an attorney, state assemblyman representing the 21st legislative district, and leader of the NJ Assembly Republicans - will be taking his comedy stylings to Atlantic City, all in a fund-raising effort to aid Hurricane Sandy victims.

"Laughing Together: A Healing for Sandy Victims," featuring Bramnick and three other comedians, will take place on Tuesday, November 19, at the Comedy Stop in The Quarter, located on the second floor of the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City.

"I would encourage everyone to come out and support our continued efforts to help those who are still struggling to rebuild," said Bramnick - who represents the 21st Legislative District which includes portions of Union, Morris, and Somerset counties - in a press release.

The doors open for the comedy act at 5 pm, with the showing slated to start at 6:30 pm. The $20 admission fee includes a buffet and cash bar. All proceeds will be donated to the Sandy Victim Relief Service provided by Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May counties and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, Inc.
